Board Of Directors Boot Camp
The PEMA Board of Directors’ Boot Camp is an intensive education program that focuses on management, strategy, governance, finance, and operations. It is specifically designed to prepare newly elected directors for service on the PEMA governing board. It is intended to provide a core foundation on which future administrative and technical knowledge can be built.
Objectives
- Provide a high-level, well organized, and effective core overview of administrative physician education.
- Provide resources and tools to encourage independent continuing education.
- Ensure that PEMA's administrative leaders are armed with the tools and knowledge to engage and make informed business decisions.
Target Audience
The course is open to all PEMA physicians. Newly elected directors are required to attend. Shareholders that have been newly elected into administrative roles are encouraged to attend.
